The discussion will inform the Joint Guidelines the two bodies are developing on Partnerships for Information Sharing (PfIS) under Article 75 of the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation.
Key details
- Online via Webex, held in English
- 30 November 2026, 13:30 to 16:30 CET
- Open to twelve providers, with one representative each
- Deadline for expressions of interest: 13 November 2026, 23:59 CET
Why it matters
Partnerships for Information Sharing allow obliged entities, and where relevant competent authorities, to share specified information where this is strictly necessary to meet their AML/CFT obligations on customer due diligence and on reporting suspicions to Financial Intelligence Units. The Joint Guidelines aim to support the establishment and operation of such partnerships while meeting data protection requirements. The roundtable draws on practical experience, looking at how existing arrangements work and the challenges providers have encountered.
Who should apply
The call is open to technology providers that currently support operational information-sharing arrangements for AML/CFT purposes. Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant expertise in privacy-enhancing technologies, such as secure multi-party information-sharing, and at least one active or completed engagement, pilot or deployment involving participants based in the EU. Places are limited. Where more eligible providers apply than can be accommodated, selection will be based on demonstrated expertise and a balanced mix of sectors, technical approaches and jurisdictions.
What happens next
Selected providers will receive confirmation and a Webex invitation at least one week before the meeting, along with discussion questions to consider in advance. This roundtable is not a public consultation. A full public consultation on the draft Joint Guidelines, including a public hearing, is expected in the first half of 2027, when all interested stakeholders will be able to share their views.
