This public hearing is held in connection with AMLA's public consultation on draft Regulatory Technical Standards on the assessment of the inherent and residual risk profile of obliged entities in the non-financial sector, developed under the Anti-Money Laundering Directive (Directive (EU) 2024/1640).
The draft RTS sets out a methodology for assessing and classifying the money laundering and terrorist financing (ML/TF) risk profile of obliged entities in the non-financial sector. It supports a consistent, proportionate and effective approach to risk-based supervision across the EU.
The public hearing offers stakeholders the opportunity to engage directly with AMLA on the proposed methodology, including the relevance and proportionality of the data points, the treatment of small entities, and the operational feasibility of the reporting framework, ahead of finalisation.
This public hearing session is open to registered participants only. Each registered participant will receive an individual access code and instructions by email upon registration. Please note that places are limited — we encourage early registration.
