This public hearing is held in connection with AMLA's public consultation on draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) on customer due diligence (CDD), developed under the new Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2024/1624).
The draft RTS under Article 28(1) Regulation (EU) 2024/1624 specify how obliged entities should apply the Regulation's customer due diligence requirements, including the information and documents to be collected. AMLA took over this work from the European Banking Authority in 2025, building on the EBA's draft with targeted amendments to ensure legal clarity, proportionality, a risk-based approach, and applicability across all categories of obliged entities.
The public hearing offers stakeholders the opportunity to engage directly with AMLA on the proposed standards, with particular focus on capturing the views of the non-financial sector ahead of finalisation.
This public hearing session is open to registered participants only. Each registered participant will receive an individual access code and instructions by email upon registration.
Please note that places are limited for this Public Hearing - we encourage early registration.
