Regulatory Instruments

Developing legal instruments is one of AMLA’s core tasks to promote convergence and consistency of the EU’s AML/CFT framework within all EU Member States.

These include Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS), Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) Guidelines (GL) and Recommendations (REC), which specify and clarify requirements, support supervisory convergence and ensure consistent implementation across the EU.

This page provides an overview of the policy mandates assigned to AMLA and tracks the Authority’s work on the development of these regulatory instruments.

Please note that this overview is not exhaustive. It will be regularly updated and expanded as AMLA progresses with its mandates.
