Executive Board MemberThe Council appointed Ms Hennie Verbeek-Kusters as AMLA Executive Board Member, effective April 1, 2026.
Before this appointment, Ms Verbeek-Kusters served as Head of the FIU-the Netherlands, after she had held several leading positions in the Netherlands Police, including in the department of the Netherlands Police involved in fighting international organised crime.
Ms Verbeek-Kusters has led the FIU-the Netherlands from 2008 until April 2026. During that period she served the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units as Chair for two terms, totaling 4 years.
She holds a master's degree in Police Management.
